Regrettably, we could not include every noted peacemanker in Franklin County. This is just a sampling. For a few, photos were not available by the time of the parade - Paula Green, Ginny Low and Cheryl Hogan, for example. Another peacemaker, Jampa, a monk from Tibet who lives in Franklin County, was in the parade but his picture was not shown when the photographer was taking pictures. The photographer apologizes for this oversight. Jumpa endured long confinement and severe mistreatment in a Chinese prison. Yet, as with Tsultrim Dolma, the former nun who was also featured in the parade, he advocates peace and forgiveness. He is an incredibly gentle man.
