Murray introduced Tony Benn (pictured at right)<\/strong>, former Labour MP and cabinet minister, who gave the opening address. Lindsey German<\/strong>, the convener of Stop the War, then moved the conference statement<\/a> which called for a worldwide demonstration on March 18th.
