Charlie Jenks, Traprock Peace Center, http://www.traprockpeace.org 11/4/2003 CAN website - http://www.campusantiwar.net charles@mtdata.com Student organizers from coast to coast gathered in Chicago for the 2nd annual national Campus Anti-War Network Conference. What started as a listserv after meetings in Washington, DC and San Francisco a year ago on October 26, 2002 has grown into a national network with over 150 campus anti-war and social justice organizations. The Conference welcomed Omar Waraich of the Student Stop the War Coalition (UK) and the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Hear his address (mp3 file). He called the US students the vanguard for international activists, and invited CAN to join with Students of the Stop the War Coalition on a mission to Iraq. Visit the CAN website - http://www.campusantiwar.net for information on CAN, its national speaking tour and literature. A press release is coming on the just completed conference.
