PUT THE BRAKES ON WAR WITH IRAN

“Not only did the President single out Iran (four times, according to an NPR commentator), but I heard no rebuttals from members of Congress regarding the threat of US war against Iran, with one exception aired by international media. This speech raises the rhetoric of accusations against Iran. We should be quite aware: Congress is NOT READY to put the brakes on the next war! They only have only begun sounding an alarm about current massacres. That’s far too late. How will we put the brakes on in advance of massacres?

The President also proposed “a civilian reserve corps … giving civilians a chance to serve in the defining struggle of our times.” Perhaps more corporate mercenaries are on the way, not bound by sworn oaths to the constitution, or treaties among nations.
