Michael Letwin, New York City Labor Against the War
New York City Labor Against the War condemns the attack on
Dave Airhart and other protesters against military
recruitment. This is part of an ongoing attempt since 9/11
to silence those who speak out against unjust U.S. wars,
both at home and abroad.
In May 1970, four Kent State students sacrificed their lives
to resist a brutal U.S. war of empire against Vietnam.
Thirty-five years later, the Kent State Anti-War Committee’s
counter-recruitment campaign upholds that proud legacy of
resistance. We admire your courage and support your
demands.
