Shame on the military for daring to show its face at Kent State University, sight of the murder of four student antiwar protesters in 1970!
And shame on the Kent State school administration for defending the preying tactics of the military machine, rather than its own students!

It is an outrage that student and war veteran, Dave Airhart, was assaulted on October 19th, fined and subsequently brought up on disciplinary charges by the university for the simple crime of standing up for what he believes in: that students ought not be recruited as cannon-fodder for a senseless war. He ought to be honored, not punished, for his courageous stand. When the City College of New York cracked down on our right to protest last spring, the antiwar movement came to our defense and succeeded in beating back the administration’s repressive hand. At schools across the country from Holyoke Community College to George Mason University, the antiwar movement continues to do the same. We proudly stand behind Dave and the other Kent State activists as they bring truth to light. Not one more death for a war fought for oil and empire! Bring the troops home now!
