ps. I fly US military cargo planes around the world. I voted for the democratic party. Yes I fly supplies into Iraq, but guess what else I do: Thousands of tons of supplies, food, helicopters, jeeps, cloths…into Pakistan to support the earthquake relief efforts. Thousands of evacuees from the Hurricanes in Louisanna. Who else would’ve done that? Do you have your pilots liscence? Can you operate one of these aircraft? Can you honestly say you’ve ever done anything this honorable in support general mankind?

Think about this when you focus on these “military” folk that you’ve labeled as the bad guys. Your govt should be the focus. GIVE US A BRAKE!!!!!

What about the rights of the students who WANT to talk to the recruiters? Who are you to tell them that they are wrong?

I’m all for free speech and all the other rights. But your small little brain doesn’t understand that your rights end where other people’s rights begin. Just because you’re practicing your right doesn’t make it right. If your “rights” are infringing on my rights, than you don’t have the right to do that.

If you want to counter-recruit, that’s fine. If you want to protest our booth, that’s fine too. Get a permit (as we have to from colleges) to setup a booth and set yours next to ours. You don’t bother us and we won’t bother you. If you want to inform students about the “realities” of war (apparently students at Kent State are so dumb that they have to be TOLD what war is about?) than do it somewhere else – not around Military Recruiters so nobody can have access to them. Again, setup your own booth or something. Put on a musical for all I care – just quit infringing on Recruiter’s Rights.

Why don’t you people understand that this is an all volunteer Military? NOBODY IS HOLDING A GUN AGAINST STUDENTS HEADS TO FORCE THEM TO JOIN. If you actually looked into what it takes to JUST JOIN the Military you’d understand that nobody can be “forced” into it. But your hatred for this Administration makes you so blind you cannot see past your own ideas. So much for college teaching you critical thinking…

You talk about the “administration’s attack” and that the “administration doesn’t believe in free speech rights. Are you talking about the Bush Administration or the School Administration? I didn’t read about anybody from the Bush administration down at Kent State…… I’m assuming you’re going with the school’s admin…..
